After due consideration and a follow-up encounter with the sherry from Sunday night, I think my experience is better described as giving myself a stye by rubbing my eyes after handling a raw pork chop than as having an allergic reaction to sulfites. So I guess it was the eggs in the dessert at those restaurants, after all.
I spent 2 hours on Monday figuring out that someone had emailed me a shell command line using –(U+2013) instead of -(U+002D) in an option. I guess that's what I get for having Unicode support built into my environment.
Wednesday was pretty interesting, in that I found, oh, about a hundred bugs. It's amazing what you can do when you read the documentation.
