This evening I cleaned the bathroom sink. Getting home from work before midnight has its advantages.
The weekend's bout of cleaning somehow motivated me to read some of my insane backlog.
Wigu: The Case of Mars, Jeffrey Rowland:
Topato, Sheriff Pony, and Paisley are the best part of the story, but the part of the book that about killed me from laughing was the "Marketplace" section at the end. It's amazing how much humour will fit into a 10- to 20-word box ad.
Nightmares and Fairy Tales #21, Serena Valentino and Camilla d'Errico, Slave Labor:
This is one of 2 comics that the Roomba gnawed, but it was still in good enough shape to read. It's the first of 3 issues telling "Song of the Siren". A travelling circus stays in town to make the most of their (real, of course) mermaid, despite the extreme hostility directed at some of their other attractions, at the insistence of Lucas, who seems to be the mermaid's keeper. I don't have any real comment except that the art is nice enough that I rather regret it getting chewed on.
