When Meeting Pagans

by A.D. Burrows

(Tune: "Let It Be", by Lenon & McCartney)

When I find myself involved with Pagans,
Whatever their sect might be,
One thing I remember; Blessed Be.
They might be Witches, Druids, Vikings,
Something else unknown to me.
One thing I can tell them; Blessed Be!

Oh, Blessed Be, Blessed Be, Blessed Be, yes, Blessed Be!
All I know of Pagans -- Blessed Be!

And when They want to read my Tarot,
(Which I think stupidity),
I can say, "No, thank you. Blessed Be."
Or if they ask me what my sign is,
(Yes, I doubt astrology),
I can say, "No Smoking. Blessed Be."

Oh, Blessed Be, Blessed Be, Blessed Be, yes, Blessed Be!
If it's Ancient Wisdom -- Blessed Be!
Blessed Be, Blessed Be, Blessed Be, yes, Blessed Be!
All I know of Pagans -- Blessed Be!

(MUSICAL INTERLUDE)

But when they gather in a circle,
That's when I prefer to flee!
Still, I say in parting, "Blessed Be."
But first I check their stars are five point;
It would cause catastrophe
If the subject's Jewish! "Ble... Shalom!"

Oh, Blessed Be, Blessed Be, Blessed Be, yes, Blessed Be!
All I know of Pagans -- Blessed Be!
Blessed Be, Blessed Be, Blessed Be, yes, Blessed Be!
If it's Ancient Wisdom -- Blessed Be!
Blessed Be, Blessed Be, Blessed Be, yes, Blessed Be!
Hell, they could be Baptists! Blessed Be!
